Sad news, Summersecret is going on hiatus. As someone much smarter than me said, “Maybe the lining of a winter’s coat mightn’t be the best place to hide a summer secret”. I’m so thankful to all of you who joined me in my pursuit of the warm months.

I’m so proud of what summersecret has become. After just one summer, it’s already spawned knock-off photoblogs, amassed thousands of ‘likes’, and most importantly, had an aesthetic that connected with you. The idea that within summer contains a unique feeling is something that you and I understand. Hazy, warm photos of sunkissed skin bring us there. Summer songs sneak up on us as if we’ve been singing to them for years. We can’t truly describe this feeling with words, it lives too deeply within us. We can only share this feeling with the few people we’re lucky to have close when the sand is in our shoes, the sun is in our eyes, the grass is on our skin, and that song is on the radio. With these people we share our secret.
